Prerequisites
Before beginning the installation, ensure you have:
- Access to the Authorization Box platform
- Administrator privileges on your server
Installation Steps
1. Download the Connector
- Log in to your Authorization Box account
- Navigate to Setup → General
- Under the Databases tab, locate and click the download button for the connector
2. Configure Firewall Settings
Proper firewall configuration is crucial for the connector to function correctly:
Required Traffic Rules:
- Inbound: Enable traffic between the Authorization Box Multi Connector and all Business Central web services requiring connection
- Outbound: Enable traffic between the Authorization Box Multi Connector and the Azure Service Bus

3. Run the Installation
- Launch the Multi Connector installer
- Follow the installation wizard prompts
- When prompted, enter your security key
- This key can be found in:
- Your welcome email from our backoffice, or
- The Setup - General page within Authorization Box

4. Verify Installation
After successful installation, verify that two Windows services are installed:
- "Authorization Box Multi Connector"
- "Updater Service"
Important Post-Installation Steps
Ensure the Authorization Box Multi Connector Update Service is running. This service is critical as it handles automatic updates of the Multi Connector when necessary.
